FIXING THE PITCH
Don’t walk into the room unprepared.
You’ve got a presentation coming up — a pitch, a proposal, a room full of people deciding whether to say yes to you. Most people rehearse in their head and hope. That’s not preparation. That’s a guess.
For years, I vetted major pitches that went out the door for fortune 500 companies, agencies, government departments, national associations and one of the biggest brand consultancy groups in North America. I also lead pitches, and won, for BBDO, USWeb/CKS, marchFIRST, Ronalds Reynolds and many more, because the difference between a pitch that wins and one that dies quietly in the room usually isn’t the idea. It’s the delivery.
Here’s the drill:
-
-
- We film your rehearsal.
The camera doesn’t lie. You’ll hear yourself say “um” forty times and watch yourself lose the room in minute three — better you see it here than the client does. - You get a real critique.
Not “great job, minor tweaks.” A line-by-line breakdown: what lands, what confuses, what’s dead weight, what’s missing entirely. - We sharpen it until it wins.
Structure, pacing, the actual words — rebuilt so the strongest thing in the room is you.
- We film your rehearsal.

Why me: I’ve spent a career on the other side of this running agencies (Big and small) vetting pitches before they went in front of clients worth real money. The pitches I touched won. That’s not a slogan, it’s a track record.
Got a pitch coming up? Let’s fix it before they see it.
